Hansa and Iwata nozzle cap thread same?

Hello,

I read somewhere that the threading of the nozzle cap was the same on Hansa's and Iwata. (Actually Olympus and Richpen were mentioned as well)

Can anyone confirm this please?

Hansa is/was a part of Harder & Steenbeck although they dont make so many brushes anymore if any, they also made compressors, I sent a vintage Hansa brush to member who was having trouble with a Badger a couple of years ago, he's never been back since.

In theory, both countries of origin would use the metric system in manufacturing, so would suppose that the threading could be the same... but, why would you want to?
