NIce work. mmmmmm. MDF. MMMMM. Haven't tried that stuff. Maybe an 8 x 4 foot sheet for a damn BIG baby Groot. ( Not Likely)
You said it, now you have to do it.....
skin color is always a big problem for me.
I have adjusted my working method.
As an example I have a beautiful underpainting in yellow ocher.
I warm it up with red ocher, to red okay I fix it with some green.
Now it is too brown, maybe a layer of yellow makes up for it.
The problem was that it quickly became too dark.
Now I start with red ocher and my last layer is yellow ocher.
This works better for me.
That's great, I mean your way of achieving the flesh tone.
I've done only one colour portraiture and it wasn't great...
I'll try to improve at the next one
