Anyone actually use the needle limiting feature on their airbrush handle? I don’t. In fact, it bothers me sometimes when I accidentally spin it. I figured out something that works that many airbrushers already have:

The ring from an air hose fitting does the trick. The smaller diameter opening faces the back.

    Cool!
I use mine sometimes, especially when i first sit down to do some fine detail or to test whether ive got the brush and paint tuned in.
It helps me make steady micro fine movements to see when i am getting flow and a couple minutes using it on some scrap freshens my muscle memory.
As a diagnostic tool it helps a lot to see that paint starts flowing at 1/8th turn or does it take a 1/4
The difference is often missed if you're going by feel alone. I find anyhow

You can also just screw the limiter out, I've never used it but never had any trouble from it either.

I'm still a bit baffled by how that works. What kind of airbrush is that on? I really enjoy using my H&S limiters and they never seem to be in the way.
I do believe Herb and I had a conversation regarding the tightness of the threads- H&S and my Badger Krome have relatively tight threads that don't easily turn accidentally. On second thought I think Herb was talking about the fineness of the threads- nevermind! ;)
