Calling all Lords, Ladies, Knights and Damsels of the OAF Realm.

    The hunt is on

It would appear that of one of our Dragons is roaming freely after a stampede at the Dragon Lair. We need your help in locating him / her. (We haven't found anyone brave enough to sex our Dragons yet)

If you happen to sight a Dragon nearby, we ask that you provide a painting to verify your sighting (Because cameras haven't been invented yet) and ask that you be aware, that whichever is deemed to be the lost one, the painting will be required to be sent via royal mail to the "Gate Keeper" at the end of the hunt as proof of sighting.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide guidance as to any identifying marks of this Dragon as the Gate Keeper of the Dragon Lair is laying unconscious in the infirmary after the unsuccessful attempt at stopping the stampede, therefore all sightings should be reported.

We ask that all sightings be sent to Damsel @JackEb where all identifying signatures will be hidden to protect the innocent from persecution from angry Dragons. These will then be exhibited publicly in the village square and a vote will be taken to confirm which is the lost one.

    We are aware that Lord
@Mr.Micron has announced a Jousting match (PP9) that takes precedence in the realm until the end of March so we will allow proof of sightings until April 30th.

    Translation:
    Challenge: Paint a Dragon
Size: Your choice (Remember it will need to be sent by mail if yours is the ‘lost’ Dragon)
    Reference: Your choice
    Open to ALL MEMBERS
    Deadline: Midnight April 30t.h
Voting is for the image, no names will be associated with the image until voting is closed.

    IMPORTANT:

Please do not post your dragon on the forum. PM (start a conversation) the image to me, I’ll hide your signature then post it on a new thread. If you need help with your painting try and avoid posting a picture for help.
Once all are in, I’ll arrange for a Poll for most liked image.

the dragon with the highest votes will be required to be posted to the ‘Gate Keeper’
(Address will be provided to the winning Dragon - and No, its not me LOL)

Oooooh, very exciting... I'm going on a Dragon hunt and I am not afraid...
As a small item, the likes of thee and me, being in the future persons, may I suggest that you make the date the 30th of April at the painters local time. You can work out the differences (or I can help you... :) )

Well since my old ex mother in law did me the honour of popping her clogs in a fitting fashion a long long time ago in a land far away, I might just be able to overcome my fear in time, it will be a struggle though because with Holland being flat as a pancake dragons are hard to come by, and since the Dutch like to party (a lot) it will probably be difficult to stop him dancing long enough to paint him, so I hope I'm allowed to knock him out:thumbsup:

Ummmm. I'm pretty sure the gate keeper was trampled, which infers this particular dragon has at least 2 legs, and besides, I'm not sure planes would have been around with Knights and Damsels

A catapult should suffice to stun the little blighter long enough to commit his look to memory.
If Holland is as flat as a pancake then I'm guessing that there won't be much chance of any Dragon playing hide and seek

That's what I meant, they know they can't hide here so they just don't come here, only the stupid ones dare to come here:confused: my aim isnt that good with a catapult, eyes aren't what they used to be so I just wanted to sneak up behind him and knock him out with a left hook:thumbsup:

I know my eyes are bad but I can see fine well that that isn't a real dragon, the fire is coming out of the side and that's just not normal:confused:

This sounds like fun! I'm just a beginner, but I will certainly give it my best shot! Can't wait to see the amazing work everyone else will do!

My special attack skill is letting off a lot of steam, since there has been no lead in my pencil for a long time there's not much chance of throwing out any of it:confused:, I can however, throw a mean tantrum:thumbsup:

You do know that Dragons are like sheep don't you Madbrush ? There are some that aren't overly gifted with brain cells.
I'm sure you will be able to sneak up behind the dragons and stun them with your left hook, after all you've had plenty of practise with the sheep.

even beginners have to start somewhere.
all the OAF challenges are fun.
If you haven't already done so, sign up for the jousting match too, (paintPal 9). It's a load of fun. That one 'finishes' before this one :)

Sheep's don't need a left hook, they are very forthcoming and always respond well to my Scottish charm, those that don't tend to change their minds very quickly after a brick to the forehead:)

I don't intend to sneak up behind a group of them, if I punch one and he doesn't go down straight away he'll alert the others and I don't run well either these days, my plan was to wait until the smallest one lags behind when they go tiptoeing through the tulips and then pounce:thumbsup: I'll take the fire extinguisher out of my car with me to be on the safe side:)
