(Loyd) excuse me mam, would you mind watching my stuff fot me while i go break a dollar.

(old lady) sure!!

(Loyd) so it is true old people, all though slow and reclace behind the wheel do still serve a pupose..........DONT YOU GO DYING ON ME!!!
LMAO I laughed untill i cried at that part!!!

is this true?................. WE'VE LANDED ON THE MOON PEOPLE!!!!!!

Are you sure about that? I've seen that movie, it was all shot on a set wasn't it Lol! Cool vid Seamonkey, never used an eraser before gonna have to play with one sometime.

Great vid Josh, that will be a good help for people who want to go into scratching and erasing.

A few pointers, you used the no 11 exacto blade for the hairs, seeing the size of the leopard you can consider to use a no 23 blade ( the half moon shaped one ) and scratch hairs with it, and then not with the tip but a little further on the blade, gives you a little thicker hairs. I even used one one my eagle's which are a lot smaller.

And you can use your electric eraser to do hairs as well, especialy in the nose section on the first layers you can do little bumbs with the side of your eraser and little figure eight textures. Try these techniques first on a piece of paper to get a feel for the pressure that you have to do, if you remove to much paint you can always go back in with your color to blend them back in and gives you more textures and depth.

And for the whiskers spray with a little over reduced black from the base of the whiskers, only a inch or so, little trick i've learnt from Jurek and makes a big difference in the end result.

But like said looks great and it's up to you if you want to add these techniques to your next one, in the end of the day it is all about finding your own ways and techniques that makes you happy and the job easier.

Thanks you for the heads up, I wish the auto eraser would have a variable speed, that would be awesome!!! I will do those things. I love learning little things that I missed. Seeing as it was my first try with mono and each piece I have done in the last 2 months has gotten better, it's because of people like you who share these little tid bits that make us better. I have been fortunate that people like you AndreZa and Ron have shared those thoughts. Constructive criticism is better than a compliment, when coming from a person with the rite credentials!! Because of this I have gotten better. Thanks!!!

this was kind of the thought I was having the other day, we have some real talent on this site, and if a picture paints a thousand words then a video paints a million.the more talented among us eventually could post videos under airbrush tutor banner, with instruction like mitch does,(but not necessarily in mitchs style, if you look at machinima in the gaming world, they have monopolised youtube and are getting some serious coin, these guys don't have day jobs they play games.they all have there game (in our case technique our style) that maybe they specialise in or are better at than others.the site would get massive, financially agreeable and I'm sure our fearless leader would spread the love back in return.just a thought don't shoot me

also a nice thought for my 300th post,...woop woop!

Hi Josh, you can vary your speed by bumping the button of your eraser, but i meant in my previous post to vary the pressure applied with he electric eraser on the board.

And an other tip, you must go through your no 11 blades in no time, i recently discovered that the surgical blades from swann-Morton ( no 11 ) fit perfectly in your exacto holder and cost a fraction that the originals cost. I buy them here by a pedicure wholesaler for 16 euro per 100. They are a little thinner but sharp as hell so also good to cut stencils and application tape and so.

what I'm saying is, if the site has a 1000 videos people would not go anywhere else, anything over 100 videos and you can become a partner on youtube attracting serious sponsor interest.

sorry josh shouldn't of written that there, it detracts away from your awesome painting and video won't be offended if you want to get it moved buddy

Shoot!!!! Your talking money!! Talk all you want!! Hell, I will tell anyone anything they wanna hear if money's involved. I can figure anything out, lol!!

The whole airbrush tutor label is Mitch's baby and he is doing just fine!! It's up to him to take it wherever he wants it to go. I'm in for anything to help him or this forum. Money is so tight I still can't even afford to be a paying and supporting member here and I freaking hate that!!!!
One thing is for sure, he watched and commented on this video, and the one bad softball video, and with in the hour of him doing that I just got 15 more subscribers!!!!!! I average 8 new ones a week!!! KEEP WATCHING MY VIDEOS TUTOR!!!!! THANK YOU!!

I just know I'm not gonna stop making videos, in hopes I help someone out.
I will work on making more informative videos with personality in them. I don't care what people think of me, I just don't wanna feel like I am misleading anyone, or say something wrong. That's why I'm not big on really throwing advise around on the forum unless I know for a fact that I know what I will be saying is true!!

nothing is truth or lies it's just opinion and if you sell it as that who can argue! you get results from techniques which"in your opinion"work for you, you amongst others have created some amazing pieces, and in some cases mitch may even struggle to do aswell himself.there is some killer artists on this site, one day I hope to be one of them,it's natural for people to play down, or not recognise just how good they are.but you sir can offer the airbrush world alot..... so ......er..er... speak in your videos please hehe

haha and I know it's mitchs baby haha I ain't saying we form a mutiny or conduct some kind of military coe.
im sure mitch knows what I'm driving at any how and the site will develop at it's own pace but we are all here at the beginning of something that I believe will be huge.

have you done/thought about advertising on local paper for giving lessons on basics of airbrushing.of you only get one customer it will at least pay for some paint for you

I've thought about it, I was just waiting till I felt better about my abilities. And I don't know how good of a hands on teacher, I will stick to videos for now.
