My first "real fire" attempt, what am I doin wrong?

    The colors are already quite good and I've seen... And done! worse. :)

    There is a YouTube video of "mural joe" with awesome fire aswell. Less stencils and the layers have to blend more. Your already good second try looks like there's a quite good first layer of red and above it a transparent layer of just yellow/white. Less hard edges and then I would work more on the basic layers before going for the (less) hot spots.
    But I am no expert... But already experienced myself that real fire is really harder than it looks and needs experience and patience to master.

    thanks mate, I leave fire alone for now, will definitely go back to it when my skills go up =)
