Welcome aboard! The master g22 is a good learning gun. That was my first. As far as paints I recomend Wicked paints. They are great for what your wanting to paint on. Practice first, dots and daggers. And once your ready to ab on the masks, we shall give you the prep info

Starting to like this forum. You all seem like cool ppl that just want to help out the new guys and progress everyone. I appreciate it all so far thanks!
it is a very newbie friendly place. even those that are the gurus leave their egos at the door.
just remember, the more info you can provide (type of brush/paint /substrate etc etc) when you have a problem the better. its hard to help when we only have half the info.
we've also been known to have a laugh or two along the way, and if you're really lucky your threads will get hijacked
