Hey everyone! It's good to be here, because, well . . . I need the help. Haha! I got into airbrushing just a few weeks ago. I originally did so in order to put some custom works on some of the helmets I own. If my motorcycle helmet is going to hit the pavement at 80 mph it might as well look pretty while it does! But for now it shall remain matte black until I gather the skills required to paint something that looks better than 8-week-old casserole.
To expedite my entrance into the world of airbrushing I bought a beginners kit off of TCP global. It came with a compressor that I've very impressed with, a basic set of Createx Airbrush Colors paints, and a Master G22. Just to bolster the line-up I also bought a Badger Patriot 105, but I'm still waiting on a few necessary adapters to arrive before I can give that one a go.
Like most things in life, straight away I noticed how much more difficult this is than it looks. Not only the airbrush control itself, but keeping the equipment working properly. I still haven't quite figured out all the things most of you all would consider simply minor inconveniences: mixing paints, reducing paints, cleaning the airbrush, etc. But I practice daily and continue to educate myself with all the resources I have at my disposal. Congratulations, you all just became another resource.
Way to keep spreading the love,
-Ryan
