what is a good brand of paint (thats cheapish) and what paints should i stay away from?

U should stay away from cheapish
For paint i recommend spectra tex or wicked detail. Spectra tex is cheaper and as good.
For mainly illustrative work buy some com art
For t shirt art buy spectra tex or createx.

The wicked and spectra tex is an everything paint, u can do everything with those, especially spectra tex

Hey fellow Michiganian. I use Createx, Wicked and Ive found that Auto Air works great as well. hope this helps.
