Paynes Grey or Trans Black

I want to do a simple portrait. Paynes Gray or should i go with Trans Black.

I tried sepia on the last one. I couldnt really get my shading right.

I'd really like to try one in hot pink... or possibly lavender. It would be a portrait of a dustbunny (sigh)

Black goes brown when transparent and Payne's Grey goes blue. So you must decide if you want a warm or cold picture. Personally I like Burnt Umber but between black and Payne's Grey, I'll go with Payne's Grey.
