You like me and I'm glad I'm a Real Clown that makes kids laugh,Clowns don't have to scare people
I like all clowns I guess cause I was always told I was always clowning around when I was in school
it does, but its still an unexpected shock when she looks through the received Paint Pals and gets a face full or Pennywise, and it would seem that Rick isn't a fan either.
And you are under protection of the OAF Dragons. You are the only Clown that makes @Squishy smile, but I wouldn't expect to have a video call with her while you are in full make up if I were you
Jackster I appreciate your no clown pp dude!
Rick, glad I'm not the only one, though its more of a phobia than a dislike for me.
Luckily these guys are good eggs and give me a heads up. You should all feel free to do clowns, just let me know what to avoid and it'll save me a trip to the sleep clinic to fix my nightmares And DEFINITELY don't send me one for a PP - that is a rule right? Rick you want to be in on that too?
I wouldn't do that to Squishy Shes a sweetheart
Its gotta be a rule cuz I knew not to send one! Not that I can paint a clown anyway!
Dont sweat the small stuff buddy. You will do fine. My list is in also.
I have always hated clowns, I refused to go to the circus as a child with family becsuse if them, I'm not afraid of them, I just don't like them, but I do know what us is to have a phobia, because of something that happened when I was about 3 years old I have a fear if fish, I can look at fish aiming or in an aquarium but I couldn't go in the water with them, my problem seems to be when they are out of water, if they come near me at all I begin to sweat and panic and my heart begins to race, I get an irrational feeling that my life is about to end and have been known to knock people down just to get away from them, so I know exactly what it does to you Squish and I also know it is not fun, I actually have the same contempt for those white faced idiots that do mime in the streets as I do for clowns, but as I said, not fear in these cases, knowing what being around fish does to me, I wish I could take that fear away for you.
So a bunch of you do not like clowns! So what about a jester ?
May I paint a Rustic buffoon or a rustic fool?
Poor @basepaint nobody likes the clown ,,, Well I love them and think the time they put into doing the make up to become that one unique clown that people of all ages remember like buttons the clown or Bozo the clown or even Penny Wise means their hard work paid off for them. Plus I would love a job I could always play the fool
But I do understand some people have a fear of them that is just a part of being different.
Now in other news the A/C is finally fixed in my office and I can breath again. At 90f with 75%humidity in here I felt like I have a elephant sitting on top of me and that was no fun at all.
I have 6 paint pal sized painting done and 4 more in the works . One is about 1/4 of the way done ,another is about half and the last 2 are about 85% there.
I am back to actually enjoying going out and painting again .. Painting for A-holes takes all the fun out of it
So now we continue with your regular scheduled programing
this is Paul Harvey Good Day!
Only a few will get that .... I can see google lighting up who the hell is Paul Harvey
@Malky, one of my daughters is the same way with fish! So I can sympathise right back at you. Its no fun. Strangely I'm not too bad with mimes, and harlequin style jesters, but the classic clown face just reduces me to a quivering wreck, and the weight on the chest thing, and racing heart etc etc. Its odd what becomes a phobia. My Granny had one of cotton wool, and I have a friend who has one of ketchup.
Glad your ac is back and online @Mr.Micron sounds like you been busy!
OK, I'll play, who the hell is Paul Harvey?
I was probably the first to Google Paul Harvey as soon as he said it he was a radio presenter who had a show called "good day" and another called "good evening" he dies at the age of 90 and there is a book about him, so he was obviously a big deal in the USA
He started in Radio new man from 1933 -65 then on tv from 65 to 1980. then made some guest spots until his death in 2009 But one of the things he did was right and say this on air
He was also taken to court more times for wanting to tell people what was really going on but got off on all counts due to the first amendment LOL
Yes i do please..mine is a phoebia. When i was young my parents to me to the circus. The clown got right in my face and wouldnt leave me alone. The more the crowd laughed the more he did it. It all ended when my dad told him to stop or he was beating his ass in front of the crowd. We left after that..didnt get to see the tigers and lions like i wanted to
Just for @Squishy
Her very own real live Dragon aka the Sea Dragon
Yay!!!! Thanks Herb! I love them!!!!! They are so awesome. Must paint one sometime for sure!
@JackEb, are they near you?
OK, that's me, Rick and Malky in the no clown Zone - anyone else?
I've just checked out some videos on them on YouTube, they are really cool, they are actually classed as a fish but they certainly don't look anything like as threatening as what I'm used to.
Look like a seahorse with wings..
Maybe they drank redbull...I hear it gives you wiings
