prep for clear.

i have done some clear over my artwork on metal. i,m about to do a full paint job. if i use auto air for the full colour coats. do i need to scuff it up with 800 or so before i go in with the airbrush. might even have a go at the glow in the dark paint for some highlights.

Hard to understand what ya mean, soz, always scuff/prepwash and detack prior to airbrushing m8, 800 will do fine for a pretty clean non cleared base coat, pending on how much orange peel may be present..
