Removing residue from masking tape

Hi, just thought i`d put forward this tip for anyone having trouble removing glue residue from some brands of masking tape. I`m referring to masking off the rubber around helmets. Some cheap tapes can cause this. The answer is simple. Just wipe it off with eucalyptus oil on a rag. Comes straight off and won`t harm rubber or paint. This is the only thing i have found to work. Also removes those annoying price tag stickers . Yeah!.

Thanks for the reply Whiteknight - I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't react with the rubber in the helmet. Wicked is what I'm now using & I have an old motorcycle helmet that I want to practice on.

Oh not sure for the rubber, I might of answered too quick, I'm sure it won't affect cured wicked though, sorry.
