It came out good mate, yes about the flames, a bit too "stencily" but that all comes down to practise, its still good! Flames are boody hard to do, I did a class with Mick and mine weren't the result I wanted although I was very happy with them. Put it to one side and in a few months do it again, in the meantime do more flames. The hardest part is getting them to not look stenciled. I will sort out my true fire dvd's for you to have a watch now im back from my hols, they will help you along with the shapes and stuff that's the hard part. Still a great job mate, very hard to do so be happy with it and learn for the next one.

Thanks Lee. I am definitely happy with it, I knew I wasn’t going to bash out the perfect flame job on a first proper try LOL, so it’s all good. The skull is probably the best work I’ve done, so I’m happy with that. I think I am going to spend some time on just flames. I really want to get that down, so practice, practice, practice.

    Simon the skull is amazing!
The expression you’ve captured, the skull’s shouting - I feel it’s the scream straight from the hell like!
    I love that!
    And wonderful details too ];)
The flames - you’ve said enough about ;)
This is how we learn - we still improving at the next art - so you ;)

Thank you Pog, I really appreciate the kind words. You’re absolutely right, it’s a learning piece for sure, there are good and bad points and that’s ok LOL.
I’m so pleased with how the Skull turned out that I don’t mind the flames not being what I wanted. The next flames will be better my friend.

If you don’t paint something, like the flames for example, how can you be good creating them?
Every each flames you will paint next, will be improved, that’s certain ;)
I drawn grass in graphite years ago - rubbish ;)
The second one were going so so,but I’m not proud of it too, the third time I were painting the grass, a bit better than before ...
It’s sometimes not straight forward process, is it ;) Anyway I think that painting it’s martial art alike ;) We have to practice all the time, but there’s always something to improve ;)

I agree entirely, Practice is the only way of improving and there’s always something to improve. That’s what keeps it interesting and exciting! :)

Good job dude. Do the same piccy in 6 months again, and will see the difference in how you are improving yourself.
Most people say that they could do a better job next time but that’s Art for you. If your happy and other people like it, what more do you want.
Keep it up. Practice, practice and guess what?
I’m personally not a lover of flames but appreciate what skill goes into painting them. That why I don’t do em.

Haha, thanks Buddy. I think I’m going to try and few different sets of flames just for the practice, who knows it may even be fun LOL.
