Beautiful work Squish! You should be happy with this one. I really like how you captured the water. Seems you've got that down because I remember your seal painting and how the water came out on that one too. The tiger came out fab too! Love the eyes!
Awwww, thanks @Cheryl. Means a lot as I know you're cracking at kitties. Glad you like the eyes, there wasn't too much detail in them so hoped they wouldn't get lost. Water is a challenge I'm still trying to master .
I know. That's why I mentioned it. If you remember a long time ago, I painted a leopard drinking water. I found the water the hardest part to get. So, yeah, it is a challenge and I think you've mastered it. As for the eyes, since this picture falls back and captures more of the tiger's surroundings, there wouldn't be too much detail in the eyes. So, I think you nailed it.
@CALz AyrWKz you're a sweetie.
@theo-art Cheers mate
Looks greaaaaaaat! Sorry couldn't help it. Awesome, looks like I need to learn this erasing/scratching method.
. Thanks. The scratching is actually really easy on the right surface. Give it a go.
Ok, so I have to say it. Gutter friends - what happened???? I post a thread with the title Soggy Moggy, waiting for someone to call me out on my ref to a wet...urm....puss, and nobody does!!! Am I being too subtle, or has everyone grown up, and I'm now alone in the gutter wallowing in immaturity? .
I was going to make a gutter worthy comment but everyone else was being so well behaved I felt like I shouldn't rock the boat.
In future I'll make sure I take one for the team and make reference to any wet animal of your choosing.
What are you like at painting beavers ?
Looks gorgeous Girl
I know, why is everyone being so good? Don't leave me hanging Bro, need some company down in my gutter .
I have never painted a beaver, an HD close up would be a bit scary...because of the teeth .
I do like a nice beaver liquor though .
Great job Squishy, nice detail work but I am mostly impressed with your highly technical descriptions in your SBS . . . ." some spangly, fuzzy water droplettly kind of areas. " Priceless .
Thanks John I am gooderer at correct termilogicals .
Fantastic , I don´t dare to face that amount of textures and complexity
Diego, I just saw your shirt. You could do this with your eyes closed, and do it better!
(In Butt-Head voice) huh uhhuh huh uh uh huh huh she said beaver...
