Torn between two compressors

Hey all, I am making the dive into model making. I have all bases covered except for the last (important) piece; an air compressor. Right now I am torn between:

http://www.amazon.com/Iwata-Medea-S...6806&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=iwata+studio+pro

And

http://www.amazon.com/California-Air-Tools-CAT-6310-6-3-Gallon/dp/B00889ZYPQ

Two very different yet similar devices. I will be using this indoors in a room; not a garage. Both are silent models one tailored for air brushing with a very inflated price tag and the other all purpose with a powerful motor (still quiet) and a very large air tank.

I will mainly focus on model air brushing for base coating and detail work BUT I will also dabble in just general air brush proficiency and enjoyment by doing free hand art work. I originally was close to pulling the trigger on the iwata but its paltry 2.5 liter tank is pathetic (but it may vary well be all I need).

Thoughts on which I should choose? Savings and a superior compressor would be had with CAT-6310. It even has a water trap and regulator. I would only need to get an adapter for my air brush and a hose. The pros for me of the iwata is the very nice form factor in a small room ready to go out of the box (but at $470.00 It kinda feels like a rip off).

I am completely up for suggestions. Thank you all very much and I cannot wait to be apart of this community!

I have a Badger tc910 that I got for under 200.00 dollars US at the local AC Moore Craft store with there 50% off coupon that works great havent had anything go wrong with it in about 10 months of use you might look for one at hobby lobby or AC Moores If your in the states?

I'll definitely go for the California Air. The Iwata is smaller but in my opinion, the motor in the California Air is better.
