    Hey Guys and Girls.
I have always seen Windex listed as a cheap cleaner or part of a home brewed reducer recipe, but it’s not easy to find in the UK, but I’ve found an alternative.
This is not a home brew recipe and I do not know the ins and outs of atomising the cleaner. I always have a proper respirator and a lot of ventilation when running it through the brush.
That said this works great as a cleaner with Createx Wicked and Illustration paints. [IMG]
It’s available at Tesco and costs about £3 for 800ml.
It is ammonia free and cleans the paint very quickly. I haven’t used it as a Reducer because I’m happy sticking with the Manufactured product, as a Newb I don’t need any more complications lol.
I’m hoping somebody here can have a look at the ingredients and let me know if there’s anything in there that shouldn’t come into contact with an airbrush. I don’t think there is as this is marketed more as a less chemically cleaner.
If it checks out ok, it’s a good inexpensive option.

    Its fine.
    and
You could actually drink that stuff pretty safely
It's pretty much moonshine with a few other food products and a little bit of baby shampoo
You'd be drunk and have minty fresh breath and burp bubbles like a cartoon

Ok to use Herbal Essence? That's my favorite shampoo for what little hair I got left. :)

That’s what I figured, but it’s good to know. It shifts dried paint off the side of the paint cup really well.

Haha, depends how well tomorrow’s paint season goes!
If I screw up the point I’m at... It will be about twenty minutes later.

Maybe it's a silly notice but i tried some ammonia free windex and still use it for cleaning. It does work. But for reducer nope... your colors will always have a blueish tint from it... Noticed it when i tried straight yellow and with it came out very light green...

May have to put the glass cleaner out in the sun to bleach out the blue.
