    Hi there.

Just wondering if I can save myself a load of mixing time by thinning the Vallejo Color paints? Will they go through an air brush ok?

    Many thanks.

Mixing time ??? As far as will Vallejo colors work through an airbrush it will all depend on what nozzle your using. Through a .35 I had no issues using some Vallejo colors But could not get good flow with them through a .23

there are two different lines - Vallejo Model, and Model Air. The Model Air is supposedly ready for Airbrush use, but I found I had to thin (reduce) them anyway - not so different with any other brand, really. I've not used it myself, but hear that the flow improver makes a big difference.

Yes try and get the Vallejo airbrush thinner, it’s very good, add a small amount of water and it flows perfect :) check a you tube channel called next level painting :) he has model paints down pat! Amazing artist!
