Ok one is an earlier work, one was today. The little guy was my own sketch, all freehand and scratching. Same .35mm airbrush and same brand of paints. 0315152101.jpg

I'm in awe as to how much people improve. Maybe people could start putting a date to their works so people can see how much improvement can be made in a specific time frame ?

I was messing around last night practicing control. I flipped back a few pages in the pad and immediately thought of this thread. Since my intention was just doodling I didn't really thin out my black enough. That, plus I still tend to go too dark sometimes anyway. Before doodling I figured I'd mess with a skull real quick and well I never really ended up doodling. Still learning :) as I guess we all are. What i really need to do is start using references more consistently. Making stuff up in my head leads to weird stuff (like the bottom jaw :)).

Saw my old stuff and had to add these. One is the same from my post above, the way early days. The other more recent and the moose skull about a year ago.

Thanks :). Might as well add my recent Turtle here as well. Sort of a different style than the others. Like, "look mom, no skulls :)". Didn't clear this one yet so still has some more "pop" in it I think.

Then in a totally different style a cabinet I did.
