    Hi Guys and Girls,
After a huge amount of going back and forth and getting horribly lost too, I have bought a new compressor. The cheapo served me ridiculously well, but my plans need something with more power.
Like a lot of folks I wanted something that could run a Mini Gun at a push, wasn’t horribly loud and didn’t cost a fortune. Turns out that’s a little harder to come by in the U.K. than I thought, but I think I’ve cracked it.
    https://www.parkerbrand.co.uk/air-compressors/24l-oil-less-air-compressor-344.html

It only arrived this afternoon, so I haven’t had the chance to try it properly yet, but it should be able to run a Mini Gun and for its size it’s crazy quiet!
I have heard Air Conditioning units that make more noise, plus with a 50 litre / 11 Gallon tank, it’s not going to be going off often using the Airbrushes.
The quality is not the greatest when you look closely, but it’s perfectly presentable and comes with a 2 way manifold 1 of which had a regulator and I’ve scaled down for Airbrush. Also comes with a 2 Year Warrantee.
For £140, so far, so good.

That’s what I would have got, but getting California Air over here seems crazy hard.

i would post a photo, but Tapatalk seems to be playing up and won’t let me. But you get the idea.
Next up is some hose and fittings to plumb in a more fixed work space.
@Robbyrockett2 for helping me make some sense of all this compressor black magic lol

I see a picture on the link you posted. I know my gf would like me to get a quieter compressor, and I would love to have a mini gun. Idk if my current compressor would handle one or not. I just don't get to use it enough to justify the cost (cough cough hides my airbrushes)

It makes perfect sense that you got something available in your country- shipping would be outrageous!

Very nice toy, strange though that something that big still only has a max output of 8 bar, my little 9 litre Orazio is 8 baro_O

It doesn't matter about the quality if the outside finish if it as long as it works and gives you air:)

I would need a bigger house if I bought yours:confused:

P.S. why do you need Tapatalk, the web version of this forum is super mobile friendly with all the same functions as you would have on a PC, I had Tapatalk and got sick of the constant notifications everytime there was a new post, I prefer to just log on and see for myself what's new.

I have a compressor that fits in my palm that will do 12 bar if you want it to. ( at about .1 cfm)

Also uses a larger single twin instead of dual twins....I dont think that really matters one way or the other.

From the looking I did, I think it’s likely the same or very similar to the Orazio. I don’t get a lot of the measurements, but as far as I can see the pair of twin motors provide a fairly quick fill and flow a decent amount. Fingers crossed it’ll do.
Regarding Tapatalk, I turned all the notifications off almost immediately LOL, I just find the function of automatically sizing the photos helpful as I take them all on my phone. So I end up using the mobile site most of the time.

That’s enough cfm for any of the Iwata mini guns

Bear in mind with a 50% duty cycle you need to be as close as possible to doubling the required CFM if you plan to do much spraying. But yeah it's plenty for the minis....wouldnt be good for midis or fulls

Sorry siroxx this is somewhat unrelated to your sweet new toy,
Heres my dream machine, My current one has less than half that output.
    Screen Shot 2018-06-07 at 2.49.31 PM.png

But notice this, this is the intake silencer that brings this otherwise normal compressor down to 60db, I already have rubber hoses attached so building some version of this from an old computer case (or whatever if its smaller) and some expanded metal and filter media could be a fantastic option for a great many of us with normal noisy compressors who cant necessarily afford a silent with the needed output (2-3k in my case).

Holy crap that’s awesome! That sucker would blow me off my feet the minute I pulled the trigger lollol
The silencer is way cool too. I was amazed at the difference the small plastic intake filters on mine made.
