Detail Decepticon!
Hi, All.
Just a little rave about a product I came across in a small local art store in downtown Geelong.
Was talking to the very helpful staffer about needing a fixative for a work I'd just done, and she recommended this product.
It's called Crystal Clear by Micador. It comes in a pressure pack can, is easy to apply to your work [ but do as the can says and test a small spot FIRST - just in case.], and dries very rapidly to a clear, flexible coat which is dust, water and fingerprint proof. The version I'm using is the gloss one, but it also comes in a matte finish, if you so desire.
On the down side [maybe] the fumes given off whilst in use will force the use of a mask, just to remind us about our safety. [ although they smell pretty good to me]
IMHO, a reasonably priced and value for money product that does what it says.
Two thumbs up from me.
