A simple review of the H&S Infinity 2024

Has anyone tried this combination on Evolution 24: nozzle cup 0.2(V2 not 24), nozzle 0.45 ( Evolution 24) with the appropriate needle?

are you asking about the air cap from the .2 on a .45 nozzle? You will crush the nozzle tip, and cut off all air flow if you tighten the cap down far enough to seal the base.

Yes. Thanks, I get it, as I don't have an Evo 24 and was curious to see if it would work

the new 0,4x's work very well. I pretty much leave the Evo 2024 setup with the .45. It's do some very fine lines and details with care taken on the trigger. As for the Infinity 2024 body, my best results so far have come from using the Evo 2024 0,28 setup on it.

Have you tried the new Evo and Infinity 24 nozzles on an older Infinity? It would be interesting to know how they would perform in an upgrade.

I have. The best option is to sell the old infinity, and buy the Evolution 2024 ;) . Short of that, buy the Evolution trigger and ditch the original Infinity trigger. The rest of the parts aren't going to produce enough improvement to warrant the expense. The Evo nozzles and head sets aren't changed much (if at all) from the older parts, but offer more top end due to increased needle movement provided by the new trigger.

@yfen444 how did you get on with replacing the nozzle? Did i miss the conclusion in this thread?
Hi @RK Ink and Focus , I actually haven't contacted H&S yet about the nozzle.

One reason is that the shipping from DE to my location takes time and it would mean missing the parcel delivery while I'm away for the holiday. The other reason is that this specific nozzle brings a quicker trigger response than the other regular nozzle (in turn it brings a bit more difficulty in painting fine lines compared with the other nozzle), so I think I can live with that for now LOL.

I thought the conclusion was clear, the new infinity with 0.25mm nozzle sits in the top tier of detail airbrushes ;)

BTW I wish H&S could release the spare parts of the new Infinity to local distributors soon!

👍

I was meaning more the conclusion to whether your nozzle was replaced by h&s. Mainly because i use some grades of abrasive compounds at work and it popped into my head, perhaps you could carefully lap the burr out.
