I was using a Paasche Hose no joke here anyway I switched to the one that came with my compressor and it's really ridged I think it's a Sparmax Iwata brand hose but I can't find a vendor online for the same type.
Anyway I really like the ridged hose it stays out of the way.

They are all just Chinese product.
You've got you're braided, your poly, and your coiled. That's basically it. By ridgid I'm assuming you mean coiled, I don't think you'll find a whole lot of difference in quality among any of them.

I am still using the same coiled Iwata hose I purchased in about 1985. I have hoses from about every brand stuck in all kinds of corners of my studio... but, stick with the one I feel handles the easiest for me, which is the coiled Iwata... I have had several of the coiled varieties from Paasche, but they seem to kink much easier than the black Iwata.

I like the vinyl hoses from Iwata. The worst is definitely the Badger branded braided hoses. Extremely stiff.
