I use the alcohol water mix for cleaning. Here in Canada, denatured alcohol is called methyl hydrate. It is the same stuff used for a gas additive for diesel engines, and for the alcohol burning stoves used for camping. Make sure you wear a respirator when spraying through the a/b. It works great and is alot cheaper than cleaners. I also use distilled water, which only costs about 50 cents a litre.
I've been doing the: 25% ammonia free auto glass cleaner 25% simple green 50% distilled water Then I rinse with water.
The Evo Dyne airbrush cleaning is a one-size-fits-all solution for all airbrush models. It has a robust formula that works with acrylic paint as well as other forms of paint such as watercolor, gouache, inks, dyes, water-based paints, and more.
