Airbrushing Stainless Steel tumblers?

Hi folks, I'm brand new here and to airbrushing so this may be a silly question...

I'd like to try airbrushing tumblers like those nice yeti or Ozark mountain stainless or aluminum drink tumblers. My question is are there dishwasher/food safe paints and sealants available for something like this?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Well I would hope you were not painting the parts you drink from like the lids and inside area .
But dishwasher safe paints ?? I am not aware of any being rated food/dishwasher safe But automotive urethane will hold up to a dishwasher.
Mainly it will all come down to how well you do your prep work to how well the paint and clear will hold up.
