Another 63

Hmm, I have seen that knurled ring before, on the more angular front end aerographs with the aluminium style handle. Hopefully someone will chime in who knows what they are talking about! It is the better looking cam ring I think.
I was looking through that thread the other day and didn't notice the ring! It does look as though it comes apart but I haven't been brave enough to try yet :)

I am not at all familiar with Aerograph's. They are from your side of the pond. I have a few but most of what I know of them I've found here on the forum. Sorry I can't help you more.
@Bigfoot can you shed any light on the model number/names for early aerographs? Did they only become the drop in nozzle super 63 in 1963? Kingpins brush looks to be a very early example, similar to the Charles burdick before the name change to aerograph. Do you know when the removable front end would have stopped production?
