Ok, probably a weird one... But has anyone airbrushed pva glue and have any comments on the experience?

Would really like to try some alternative things to put through the airbrush etc... The idea of the pva is to create a selected glossed area but I'm sure there are better methods for this if you have any suggestions

Ta :)

Because of how precise an AB nozzle is, I wouldn't shoot any glue through mine. First, you'd need to really thin it out to get it to spray and to get your desired effect would probably take a ton of multiple coats. Second, if you don't clean your gun out perfectly, afterwards, it may be next to impossible to remove any dried glue from the nozzle.

There are probably better products to shoot through your airbrush to get the effect you want, or just take a tiny paint brush and paint it on. Just my two cents.

This is probably an airbrush faux pas... I've not sprayed PVA but I have diluted down a thick acrylic medium and built that up in layers, using a wide nozzle - so I imagine it is possible with PVA. Hope that helps.
