best base for glass bottles

i had a project that i had to leave for a while since i wasn´t able to complete it, since the paint i used didn´t hold on glass bottles.what base can i use to make them hold?

Glass paint like Deka perhaps or frosting the glass first with a sandblaster to provide a tooth.

Just watched this video on youtube. Reverse Glass Painting - YouTube
She showed a technique using Rolco size.

I will have to watch that again, I thought she was showing how to glue a print and cut piece onto glass.
