best paint for felt

this maybe a question for the t-shirt guys. but what is the best paint for felt. i am in the process of building a poker table and want to do some grafix on the felt. any particular way to paint it or finish over it when done?

im not 100% but i think it would be acrylic based paint, slightly watered down, i would wait till a pro gives a advice on what paint
