The bottle top seems appropriate for marks out of 10
had a bit of time free and nothing in mind to paint so i thought i would take a bash at this as a test piece,
so here's one for the clint fans 7 x 5 (sorry should have put a reference to show size .
Photo paper with createx paints. 3.5 mm tip for fast back fill of black. All the rest done with .2mm rich pen. Used a dodgy stencil to get the perspective and size right then mainly freehand and some stencils for straight line and curves.
This seems like a good one. I hope I can find the time to jump in...
Just saw this.. don't know how I missed it. Anyways, I am currently in between projects.. so might give it a go.
I'm really up for this but I'm working like mad getting my bike stripped and serviced (might do a paint job as it's all in bits hmm ).
For those who don't know my best mate and Pub landlord was murdered in his Pub just before Christmas and the funeral was yesterday so I was also busy helping out with the arrangements
So, today is my day for clearing the deck and plan to start painting tomorrow.
Sheesh! I didn't know that Marty!!!!!! That's crazy!!!!!!!! My condolences to you and his family.
Seems that as the bike is already in bits, a paint job is def the way to go! (And maybe could incude a little memorial for your friend)
More bad news I afraid. My big Brother died of a heart attack this morning .... I seem to be surrounded by bad news at the moment! I'm not in a good place in my life right now!
FFS, your having worse luck than us now Marty, it never rains but it pours, you'll notice this just doesn't seem to happen to people that deserve it, stay strong whatever happens and just as you said to me you know where I am.
OMG. So sorry Marty. PM me if you need to vent, rant or anything else. Thoughts are with you.
Sorry to hear your news marty i pm'ed you mate
Thanks @Madbrush @Squishy & @matty171
I'm a lit emotional at the moment ..... I appreciate your kind words
Sorry to hear that, wish you courage through these hard times, will be sending positive vibes your way.
OMG, Marty!! Losing a friend in such a violent way and then losing your brother! It has to be unbearable. I'm so very sorry! My heart goes out to you, your friend's family and your family too. Stay well my friend.
Thank you @WhiteKnight & @CALz AyrWKz
life is a strange thing! A bit like a mystery tour, you just don't know what is around the corner or where your going until you are there!
I am now in the "Head of the family" role and propping everyone else up and organizing things which surprisingly has taken me a step beyond grief and has helped to take my mind off my own selfish "feeling sorry for my self" thing.
I sat down last night with a bottle of whiskey had a good grizzle and then slept to awake with a positive attitude.
I'm in a much better place in my mind today and I appreciate the support from my "air brush" family, both on this thread and the PM's .... thank you everyone!
Sorry for "Jacking" this thread
Hey Marty, I'm glad you had your grizzle. Being strong for everyone else is an amazing thing to do, but you need your time too, so that you can continue to give that support,. And we are here for you, when you need us.
Sorry for the loss of your friend and your brother. I can't even imagine what you've been going through.
Sorry for your loss mate... Lost both my wife parents, my close uncle and a close friend in last 2 years... Its sad mate, but I know that none of them would want me to be down. Keep ya happy times. Have a cry occasionally, but keep ya chin up, heart tickin and air flowin mate.
Sorry to hear that keep your head high though I alway looked at it from the point of view that the people I lose in my life would not want me to be down cause of there loss. They would want to be remembered for there acomplishments and what they brought positive into my life. You and your family have my deepest condolences and prayers.
