So I posted in here a little while ago with some beginner questions for airbrushing miniatures and everyone was awesome and helpful. I managed to bend the needle on my cheap eBay airbrush due to being completely careless and was out of airbrushing for a bit. Just recently bought myself a Sparmax Max 4 though, so not topline Iwata but a huge difference to the no-name eBay job. Managed to branch out into using stencils too and ended up with this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n7hybrt3jnatv58/starweaver stenciled.jpg?dl=0
Still getting a lot of tip dry though, especially with Citadel paints (even the air ones). I figure I'll get used to having right consistencies and air pressure eventually.
Just have a question with the airbrush, when I cover the front of the airbrush to backflow the air for mixing and cleaning the airbrush I'm finding I get a bit of thinner/cleaner leaking through the nozzle cap and needle cap. The eBay one did this too but I just figured it was cheap and the seals had gone. Is this normal? Here's a picture of the airbrush and circles around where it comes out: https://www.dropbox.com/s/as8xlqpd6kgtpce/leak photo.jpg?dl=0
