Congrats on the new airbrush.

Congrats! Use the .4mm setup to get used to it. It will still do pretty tight detail. Make sure you use your pronged need protector too. :)

I have the CR+ .15mm and love it! Actually selling my Badger 360 to help purchase another CR+ with .4mm setup for broader strokes and general detail.
Alright... Who's gonna make the first comment about my using the word "strokes"?

I have already exceeded my thread hijacking quota for the day. @Mr.Micron will yell at me.

You know, you can get up to a .6mm setup for the Infinity, if you do, I would recommend a 5ml paint cup also. Even the .4mm can drain the cup pretty quick.

Your advice regarding the 5ml paint cup may have already been taken into consideration because the CR+ package with 0.4mm needle set-up comes standard with a 5ml cup at my local supplier. (Chicago Airbrush Supply) It is quite an experience to walk into a store (more like a small and cluttered warehouse) that provides wall-to-wall, ceiling to floor, art supplies with mostly paints (literally EVERYWHERE) and the ability to HOLD and airbrush before purchasing. A person can easily spend hours in there perusing the walls of color. Oops, I digress...
So it appears that there may be more than one Infinity in my future. Alright... Someone please point me in the direction of a help group for Airbrush Addicts Anonymous!

I know what you mean. I bought 6 in 2013. If you are getting another H&S, concider the Evolution AL Plus. Because of the light weight, I prefer it to the Infinity.

EDIT: if you wait another 6 months or so, I'm sure they will probably release the Infinity AL Plus this year.

Hi,
If you use the .15 needle nozzle combination be careful of ramming the needle home too strongly, before locking it off as the nozzles are definately quite soft and inclined to crack vertically from the tip down. Theyre not too expensive to replace but best to be careful in the first place.

i have to say i do love my infinity as for the needle do be very care full i ate using the cap and have dinged brand new needles almost instantly and i havent had much use for it now that i have a micron also what you can do is just buy the aluminum body and a regular infinity .15 and swirtch tha parts to the aluminum body ( if they willl fit) i hate switching back andforth between the two set ups i will get a brand new ,15 cr pluss one day to avoid switching .. as for the cup sized they have a chrome plated 15 ml cup and i belive also much larger cups that was one of the seling points to me aside from the beuty of the thing. its like at first your not sure if you just want to frame the damn thing and put it on the wall . as for the al gun i love the look of polished aluminum instead of the black

last thing try com art and etac efx with it i highly recomend those paints less clogging issues

Hi, I'm Craig. I have an addiction. I am hooked on AB. I have been painting and drawing all of my life. Went to school for it. I think about art as I fall asleep at night. So,.. when I was gifted my very first airbrush, a Paasche single action external mixing H for my birthday in September, got hooked! I just spent 3 hours in Chicago Airbrush Supply today like a kid in a candy store. Between my first atomized drop and today I have acquired a family of five. (Master G44, Paasche H, Paasche VL, Badger 100lg, Badger Krome) My wife is about to kill me. Instead of holding her hand while we watched a movie the other night I tickled the trigger on my new Krome through the whole flick.. Yeah I'm glade that I found a place like this!! Planned new additions; HPCH, Infinity, and finally (when my experience warrants the purchase) my very own Micron. Super inspired by all of you.

i was messing around with my infinity laast night as with the micron it goes from spraying nothing to spraying sonmething i say go ahead and mess with the .15 if you want but use the protective cap and be extremly carefull with it i usualy instal the needle from the front pull it so the tip is just inside the body and screw on the noZzle cap thain push the needle forward to avoid bending it at all
good idea on getting another gun for heavy ork i do belive they have a 15 ml metal cup for it, and if you use the .6 i know they have even larger cups check the web site

Glad to hear you got her.

To the guys who live close enough to Chicago Airbrush, I'm both envious of you and happy I don't. I'd spend some major time in the dog house if I lived close enough to routinely visit places like Chicago or Coast.

Nice good luck with the purchase let us know how it goes
