Managed to find all the materials and decided to check it out! Found some vids in youtube about preparing new brushes and trimming (didn't do that) and gave it a go. Isn't that addictive! First thing I've noticed, without knowing anything, is that there are indeed a few hair sticking out of the tip of the brush which come in touch with the surface and ruining the start of the line? Very excited and just wanted to share it with you guys!

Pinstriping is another lesson in big learning curves but it very therapeutic when you get into it. Check this vid out and see if you have the same problem with the tip of the brush. If you have it will show you what to do.

@jord001 yes, exactly the same problem. Each time just before I touched the glass, 2-3 hairlines were touching the surface creating this tiny blob.

Well it sounds like the same thing then, SO be careful and trim the very tip just like Mackie does in the vid and if your not sure only cut a tiny bit and then try the brush again, it may take a bit of time but then you will be able to test if you get the blob.
