Grey Colours

I am thinking about having a go at a black and white picture, would a reasonable approach be to mix my ComArt black with drops of opaque white to get a range of greys to full black ?. ComArt are only to willing to sell me a whole set of Greys !, or am I just being a cheapskate :friendly_wink:

mix your own, Granted a full gray set is nice to have if you were going to be doing nothing but gray scale, But I think you learn more by mixing you own.

I buy a 50% grey and darken or lighten that. A bit of red makes it warmer and a bit of blue makes it cooler.
