Hello Everyone, My Name Is Kai! :D

The kroner comes with the .2 &.3 needles and the. 3 is doable for create if you play with a wee reduction but filtering in highly recommended

I think it may take slightly more than a "wee" of reduction with the Createx.

Since you have the paint and the brush it won't hurt to try it out. I would expect you will need quite a bit of reduction. I believe the Krome comes with the smallest needle set in it, I would make sure the larger needle set is in it. Worst case is you cannot get proper flow you pull some of your hair out...swear at it a little bit, clean out your brush, then move on. :smile-new:

I would recommend finding some E-Tac PS though I think you will like it.

Sorry I really am a newbie but what is E-TAC? I searched and I found it is possible an adhesive? I will definitely reduce the paint down and see the outcome, however I may just skip from Createx onto SpectraTex and Wicked!

Well Wicked is also made by Createx, they have 3 basic lines of paint....regular create for textiles, create illustration, and Createx Wicked (transparents) I use the wicked line and my Badger Velocity for most everything because it teaches me go slow with light layers and build up to the color I want.

You can look at usairbrush.com for e-tac. You will want to find somewhere closer to you to buy it, but that is the E-Tac paint.

Wicked is great for pretty much any surface, and can be use for automotive as it is lightfast. So if you are wanting to paint on many different things this would be good for you. However it doesn't specialise in working on a particular surface, so if you are only going to be doing fine art on board/canvas etc, then E'tac or createx illustration would be better.

Thanks I will definitely check them out jgny1! They look like one of the most notoriously used paints.

Thank you Squishy for your input! Just on the fence at the moment with SpectraTex and Wicked, I will come to a conclusion either through price different or performance difference!

I would say which ever you can get the easiest and cheapest out of those two you can't go wrong. They will both work fine for textiles. For T-Shirts you should put down a good coating of Transparent Base on the shirt, then heat set it. Then paint your design heat set again and then give another good coat of Transparent base and heat set again. Not sure about shoes however. So what ever you get, get a large bottle of Transparent base.
