Heres My 1st attempt

Juan, Blue shift can be a problem, it can also be a bonus for some paintings if you need a blue or cold colour :)

You can negate the problem somewhat by adding a few drops orange or light brown to the white to tint it ever so slightly, there are numerous videos on how to get around blue shift.

Many thanks Ian 🙏 I'll have a look at it because so far it's only given me problems.

Thank you 🙏 The video was great and helped me a lot. I'll go to that thread.

I just saw this on instagram and wondered if it might be appropriate to upload a photo of it here, it lets you see an aspect of the science of colour, I don’t need to understand it but accept that it’s something that can surprise you. It might help to accept things like blue shifts . If you zoom in you can see it’s just black and white

Its amazing how our body works! very cool picture that demonstrates we cant always rely on what we see! 😁

It's all an illusion and incredibly interesting how our brain retouches the world until it fits. For example, we should all see a black dot in the middle of our field of vision because the optic cord goes out behind our eyes at this point and there are no visual cones there. Actually, we should even see 2 points because, thanks to stereoscopy, the brain creates one from two different, upside-down images and merges them seamlessly. I don't know how Adobe did it, but it seems like we have a Photoshop chip in our brains.🤪😁
