Hi everyone, I am so pleased to be back again. Really great to see a lot of the ole gang still here so you can probably gather that I have been here before
. I was Melbee then but I'm back as Melzy, new start, new name kinda thing.
I'm a Brit living in the Netherlands and I used to paint portraits but I got disenchanted by the amount of time and stress they caused me. I put my brushes down for a while until I found other inspiration and over 5 years later I've finally got some new ideas. Hoorah!
It's gonna be abstract, simple illustration and whatever pops in my head so don't expect masterpieces

I use acrylic paints, ComArt and Etac mostly but I have some Golden, Schmincke and Trident too. I have an Iwata CM-SB V1 and an Eclipse SB, an Olympos MP-200C imported from Japan, two Sotar 20/20's and a bunch of Cheapo's plus a few I've forgotten about
Sadly I discovered my Werther 20A has a problem which I haven't been able to fix yet so I will be posting on the Compressor forum soon. Luckily I just bought one of those Mini Cordless Compressors which will probably serve well enough for what I want to do, we will have to see. I still have my first compressor the AS186 which although horrid will give me abit more pressure if I need it. If I can fix the 20A then I will be spoilt for choice
So that's it. Very happy to be back in this great place once again and seeing so many familiar names gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling
Ta Taa for now
