I had the same problem, using a micron. I solved it with a solid cleaning if the instrument.
first let the parts that are in contact with paint, sit in a cleaning oil for about six hours, then wash it off with warm water, use the special mini brush to get rid of residue in het nozzle canal.
You wont believe the amount of paint coming from an airbrush that looks clean to begin with.
After this procedure, the lines will be perfect with no splatter effect, wathever paint you are using
