hello guys!

i have painted some controllers and other small stuff before and its an easy way of start making some money with airbrushing doing friends controllers for them!

Here it goes!

1. start by taking the whole piece apart and cleaning it all with warm water and then thinner to get rid of dust and grease.

2. sand the whole surface with 600g paper, its a bit high g but sand it lightly. no shiny areas left means that you have done a good prep!

3. apply primer, using rattlecan plastic spray primer works good and is cheap. just a light fog on the surface and your done.

4. apply what ever color you like and let it dry, some paints need to be clearcoated within a few hours and if you let it dry over night you might need to apply some intercoat clear and then scuff it lightly to get the clearcoat to stick better!

5. applying the clearcoat, start with a light fog and let it sit for a while. when the fog is sticky you can apply a shiny layer of clearcoat using a 50% overlap and then let it get sticky again. you can add about 3 layers this way and the last layer will be a little bit thicker.

Let the clearcoat sit for some days intill its harden properly, clearcoat tends to be soft the first few days.

DONT PAINT ANYTHING WITH ELECTRONICS WITHOUT REMOVING THE ELECRONIC PARTS FIRST!

I cant upload pics yet but will hopefulle be able to do so soon!
