How to use a compressor?

Hi guys.

I need some help asap please.:confusion:

I just bought myself a 24litre direct drive compressor and i have no idea how to use it. should the air come out instantly or shouldit stay on for a while? how should it be setup before i switch it on?

All help will be appreciated.

Being it has a tank it will run for a while to fill the tank with air.
It has a built in switch to tell the compressor when to turn on and off by the amount of pressure in the tank.
You should have an place where you can hook you at least one air line (some have more than one outlet to hook up a line too)
