Nice piece Husky, not bad at all and would fit in with my current evening music tastes.

By the way, made a spelling mistake for one band.... should be Rodrigo y Gabriela (missed a 'd' out of his name).
And, Vampire Weekend music is not for listening to if your feeling like slashing your wrists!!!!! At least not to my mind anyway...

Kiss Kiss Kiss is kind of fast beat and lots of notes/beats intermixed and all at same time and lots of rude words (if you can catch them...)

Shania Twain is the American (oops no, Canadian) kind of Country Singer with a Pop twist I guess, also a resident in a major
    Las Vegas Casino/Show place.

Wanda Jackson is famous in the 50/60's Rock n Roll era. Her voice is sublime, going from a loud rough n ready tone to the
sound of a sweet angel. Something akin to Janis Joplin, Lulu and an Angel. Really good voice control.

Dave Clark 5 are again 60's stuff and were THE biggest band in the world for a time. Had their own Jumbo Jet, and mahoooossssive
crowd followings. The Beatles eventually got bigger.

Miles Davies: is probably the king (arguably) of Jazz trumpets. He was innovative, brilliant and The COOL guy for years.
Until heavy rock and metal started getting hold of the market, so he changed tack and brought out a new heavy style Jazz album
"Bitches Brew", and his loyal fans were outraged as he moved away from pure Jazz. Damn good album though.

Dean Martin: is the Film actor (and singer) who famously teamed up with Jerry Lewis (the Comedy Actor) for many, many films.
Also a member of the famous 'Rat Pack' (Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop) actors.
I think his voice was far better than his mate 'Frank Sinatra'.

a little potted history for ya.

Thanks for those links, liked the Budda stuff, will probably investigate that further at some point. Once I start listening to samples
I then spend hours and hours going through loads of stuff. Cafe del Mar was good too. The album that got me into them
was Volume Siete. Totally blew me away and used to play it to put me to sleep while on tour in Kosovo.
I think it is still the best album they produced to date.

I love listening to Enigma, check out these albums... THE CROSS of CHANGES and MCMXC a.D. I think they are superb.

hahaaaa, well, yea I guess you could call it close - ish lol. And again, thanks to your links, I have just spent an hour listening and downloading
yet more chilled sounds. If I keep this up, I'm gonna run out of drive space (again).

Another one I listen to occasionally or when I am really in the mood, is
" Chant music for paradise" by the Cistercian Monks of the Stift Heiligenkreuz. They sing in Latin and is very relaxing, but
    obviously of a certain taste.

lollol:thumbsup: Don't wanna be doing that! I only listen to this stuff when relaxing in a chair at home or doing stuff
on the computer. And as I said, it's not to everyones tastes.

Another group I found and which is smooth jazz stuff is a group called " FourPlay ". I found one of their albums "Fourplay Greatest Hits 2012"
and quite liked it how it sounded.

My taste is pretty eclectic lol. My playlist at the moment has Bowie, Guns n Roses, Slash, Biffy Clyro, Pink, Kate Bush, Eminem, Aerosmith, Adam Ant, Evanescence, Eurythmics, Ozzy Osbourne, T-Rex, Link in Park, Manic Street Preachers and Queen. I also have an 80's one, and a Brit Pop one that I swap in and out of. But I'll listen to anything except Trad Jazz - can't stand it.

I can't stand folk music from my country. Here's an example:

When I hear this, I wanna throw myself through the window. To bad I live on a ground floor. -.-

I haven't even played it yet and I'm already scared!

On the Grand Tour Colombia special they were playing some Colombian rock n roll... I found it oddly groovy and now I want to hunt down their music.
