I hardly ever have any use for a 0.8 nozzle except when I want to spray a micro flake paint I know I can do it with my 0.5 Iwata revolution but that brush has a small cup and I really ;like to have a bigger nozzle
now I cam across the vengda BD 116c dirt cheap and it comes with 3 cup sizes and 3 nozzle sizes and needles from 0.3 up tp 0.8
trick is I dont know if it is a hit or miss airbrush but they sell as cheap as 35 euro's and if it is only halfway decent I would make my money back in about 5 minutes but if it is no good it will be money down the drain
    @DaveG ?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with this model. The few things I will mention, is that with .8, or even a .5, the included color cups in that set are still quite small. You will blow through your paint supply quite quickly! The other thing I will say is that in this brand, they can be a bit hit or miss. It is usually down to the alignment of the nozzle within the nozzle cap. If you feel a little handy with being able to sort these types of issues out without killing yourself, even if you get the "off" version, you may be able to make it suitable with just a little elbow grease.

that Dave for your input about the brand the biggest cup holds 15 ml paint that is enough for what I have in mind and if I need to refill it hat will be no problem I guess I will take my chances with this airbrush or better micro spray gun

I can say that Fengda has raised its quality over the last decade.
Now selfcentering nozzles are made of stainless steel, ten years ago they had plated brass. Air caps have better quality, even 0.3mm setup has decent results.

I even planned to buy the model you're mentioning for myself for the places where small "AB - spray gun" is required.
So, from my side there's no hesitation "to buy, or not to buy" this airbrush. This tool will definitely pay for itself.
They have two similar models, one with screw in nozzle, another one with selfcentering one. I would rather buy with selfcentering, as all Fengdas I have with the selfcentering nozzles are pretty normal airbrushes.

If you'll buy it, please, give some feedback, it's interesting to hear what you'd say concerning this model.

I wont be needing this gun till next winter but I will order it next week just to play with it , I had looked ad different options like mrhobby or even Olympos but after shooting some micro pearl metallic yesterday trough the 0.5 revolution I decided I wanted a bigger nozzle as well as a pistol grip
I dont really need a bigger cup than the 15 ml this brush comes with
my only concern was quality and DaveG and Valdimir comments make me curious enough to spend a little money on this AB spray gun and @Vladimir I will write my findings about this gun down and share it with this forum as I am sure some will find a gun like this useful

Good to hear, that 0.5mm nozzle shoots micro flakes! I now have thoughts on them, so your feedback is inspiring. Ronald, what exactly size those flakes were, could your say?
I'm just buying now different colours of the flakes and think about making some painted demo shapes. I think, I'll create the thread for this topic.

I wouldn't think about Olympos, as it has rubber seals in its side cup, that's no good for solvent based paints. This type of gun is intended to be used for some custom paint works and this means that mostly solvent based are going to be used, at least in my case.
To make it work normally, you'll have to buy an adapter for Iwata cup and Iwata side cup, for these two parts you'd spend more $$ that you'd spend for entire Fengda's set:)

I have Olympos trigger AB, but it has no pistol grip, I can't say it's convenient without that grip. I don't want to spend cash for two parts mentioned above and plus grip price, I'd rather buy 116C;)

After you mentioned "bigger cup", I thought to myself: "I must order custom made big cup for that gun":) And it feels like it's going to be implemented.

I'm pretty sure, there will be no place for bad results with this model.

@Vladimir I am not sure how big the flakes are I use etac paints as you know and etac has a micro pearl metallic ready to spray trough a minimum 0.5 nozzle but I know Lion sells flakes that will spray trough a 0.5 nozzle I will check sizes later and get back to this

@Vladimir Lion sells flakes as small as 0.08 mm and according to his site you can spray flake up to 0.2 mm trough a 0.5 nozzle
