Inline water separator.

Hey some hoses come with an inline water separator a small cylindrical object which looks like basically a heat sink. Do they work?
I cant stand having a moisture trap attached to my airbrush directly it feels wrong and uncomfortable and in the way but I still want to get moisture out of the line.

If you don’t have a compressor with an air reserve tank I wouldn’t suggest in line. I would get a decent separator that attaches to the compressor and if you don’t have a regulator then get on with a regulator. Also the climate you live in will add to things.
