Well, I can't look at second-hand pages, you always end up finding something that becomes irresistible. At the beginning of August I saw a richpen 213 c, according to the advertisement it was new, it had been used on one occasion and was stored there, it had the original box and it seemed to be in exceptional condition, it asked for €90, it is a good price but I already have too many airbrushes....(aad) So I told myself, stop, I made an offer of €50 and that's it, he didn't even answer me... I thought I had forgotten and was not going to buy it, but it arrived at the end of August, maybe my offer seemed more interesting to him after spending money during his vacation and he contacted me and accepted my offer, I was forced to buy it, you know
I received it yesterday, I was surprised because it really matched the description, it is brand new, it had traces of black paint on the inside, but nothing that can't be solved with a good cleaning with solvent. I have been trying it and it has surprised me, it works surprisingly well, and I am used to using good airbrushes, but this one in particular works very well. I was surprised by how sharp the needle is for a 0.3, it feels like it's not a 0.3
At first it was not going well, I needed to dilute the paint a lot for it to be halfway good, and even then the trigger was not precise, you could get details worthy of a 0.2 but there was no repeatability, the trigger did not activate the flow of paint in the same place and it seemed like the nozzle was clogged or tip dry, I started to get frustrated, I was only using quite high pressures and when you reduced from the mac no paint came out unless you pulled the trigger more than half... I was worried because I had already cleaned it well and in theory it shouldn't be dirty. Even so, I disassembled the nozzle again, cleaned it well and made sure to look inside and check that there was no dirt, the same with the head.
I realized that the piece that goes right next to the trigger had some play and I noticed that the rear needle guide did not slide well, I corrected it and I was amazed It has radically changed the way it works, it was dirt, but apparently it is in the worst place. Now it works wonderfully, you can get very fine details for a 0.3 and the trigger response is very good and reliable. I attach some photos of the tests and the new toy. A totally recommended airbrush.
