I don't think the track one is a golf cart, It looks like it might have started life as one of those utility vehicles, Like a razr or something

There will never be a smoother ride than a late 60's caddy though
Not until they make hover cars
I think you could drive one over a VW and not notice.

My grandparents had one, I ended up with one too years later. Both pea green, power everything, climate control. The backseat was the size of a twin bed.
I'm 6'2" and to this day I could sit in the back and stick my legs straight out and not touch the front seat im pretty sure.
I'm pretty sure the trunk is bigger than the bed on an s-10 too.

I know where a 59 caddy is for sale but it needs a lot of work .
But my dad had a 63 Caddy that was like riding on air . It just floated down the road.
Lincolns just did not ride as smooth.
I think you are right about the tracked one I think it started as an atv but it is still cool LOL

I always dug the idea of Caddys and they always have a sense of cool about them. Just struggle with some of the styling. But generally speaking I love the 50s, 60’s, 70’s American cars. 50’s, probably Ford that gets my vote, 60’s would cross between the Chavell, Charger and Mustang. 70’s would be the Impala and Trans Am. Burt Reynolds has always been one of my hero’s lol. So the Trans Am has to be in there.

If you are talking 50 Merc was number one. James Dean made them one of the most sort after cars , 60 GTO,Hemi Cuda, Firebird, Camaro and you can forget the El Camino , Charger, challengers and Vettes , I never liked the way the olf Mustangs road LOL.
70 was about the same as the 60's except the firebird was rename trans am.

There are a bunch I didn’t mention, but fortunately you caught them all. I passed a beautifully restored Hemi Cuda a couple days ago. That thing was amazing.

55 and 56 chevy was my favorite. I still have a title for a 55 but never did finish restoring it. I did own a 56 chevy and it was a great car. I got the urge to trade it for a 63 1/2 falcon sprint. Wish I still had both of them. I went through 4 sets of tires with the sprint the first year I had it. Couldn't take off without spinning the wheels.:whistling::whistling:

I started out with some 60's stuff. Took a 69 cutlass S and made a 442 clone. You guys totally left out the 442's btw.
Then I got into the 30's and 40's stuff. Favored my 46 olds fastback a lot. Ended up with a 54 chevy which I turned into a cruiser car, with small modern fuel injected v6 , front suspension and brakes from a chevy 2 and I mated the whole rear subframe of a 95 t-bird Independent rear suspension up to the frame.
The 442 clone was probably the fastest of the bunch. Aside from one of my 78 cutlasses , but that one was not a street car.
The 78 was the only one I ever really built for speed.
I figured if really want to go fast I can hop on rice rocket that costs 5k and blow away anything on four wheels. (which I had to prove to one of my bosses who somehow thought his grand national could beat a liter bike in a drag race)
The cars were much more about classic style.
I think if I were to build something now it would be something 20's or maybe 40's with some custom lines but not too much and basically all modern daily driver running gear. Or possibly just a mild 307 olds just for a pretty sound.

I still want to do something sort of akin to a lotus, but with my own body design. I started one that I never finished with a celica gts drive train just like lotus was using for a while, but I think now I'd slap a prelude drive train in it. Basically a quick street legal go kart LOL

I had a Celica GT4 when I was 20. It was the 2 litre turbo with 4wd. Did a lot of work to that sucker and it ended up dyno’d at 350 Bhp at the wheels. I know that’s not much to you guys, but for the UK, It was pretty damn fast.
But yeah, my Triumph Street Triple would take it down easy.

Thats pretty good, If only the gt4 wasn't so heavy. The gts was 600lbs lighter and still kinda heavy for a little four cylinder.
Actually I think theres some lines from both of those cars I would use In my custom body though.
