My adapters came in today. They appear to fit, but there is air coming out of the place where it screws on. Do you use that plumbing tape for these situations? Thanks.
Yes, teflon tape is good for leaks. It also acts as a thread lubricant, so can reduce the chance of things seizing up, if used sensibly (you don't need any more than three carefully applied layers (max) - it will probably be fine with less).
