Metal sheets attempt

I am trying to figure out how to do foliage. It is tedious and challenging.
I needed a break and I realised there was something else inside me that wanted to get out, so I made this eye to calm my nerves. I was thinking of keeping it black and white but got curious what it would look like with a touch of candy color. I had to use a slender brush for the eyelashes. I tried with the airbrush but they did not get distinctly black and I do not yet have sufficient control.

I welcome any tips for further improvement!

Nice job. There is no rule that says you can’t use other tools to complete a piece. So I say, use whatever works!
