So today I got my brand new cm c-plus, but while testing it i saw an awkward spraying patern then I was loogind at the needle and I saw that the needle when pull back for paint does not centers on the nozzle hole, it goes on the right down side of the hole.
i took a look at the eclipse and that needle it is in the center of the nozzle.
what is wrong??
i took it apart and cleaned it lube it, but there is still this problem.
what should I do??

Do you get it from a shop? If so I would call them. At or contact Iwata. Is it new? They are supposed to be lined up perfect from the factory. If used may e it was dropped. The whole head is supposed to be changed on a Micron for perfect alignment.

it is supposed to be new, i bought it from ebay.
I have contacted the seller to inform it by this issues, and I will wait for it`s answer. hope to somehow solve this problem.
i hope not to spend another $$$ for the head sistem and the needle.
maybe is just the needle, ???

does any of you knows a shop in europe who has micron parts???

Hi Olvi, I'm really sorry to hear you are disappointed with your Micron.

I had a look at all my airbrushes and to be honest when I look through the microscope head on and pull back the trigger, non of the needles stay in the centre. They all move to one side or the other of the nozzle and they spray just fine so I don't see that should be a great problem but then I'm not a Micron expert. Perhaps it is something else.

By the way I haven't tested the Olympos yet cos I've been ill, I'm hoping to do some tests tomorrow.
cheers Mel

i am really not sure if the needle head is the problem, as the needle is bend , but when i spray small dot (2mm max) the dot is like a moon.

Dam Olvi, that really sucks. I hope someone with a Micron can give you some advice but obviously a bent needle is going to cause problems. Have you tried straightening it? Is it just the tip that is bent or is the whole needle bowed?

i am not sure, but if i twist it slowly sometimes the needle sets in the left side of the nozzle.

I don't know what to tell you my friend, it's just too difficult to assess without seeing it and even then I'm no expert. Perhaps if you could take pictures of the spray pattern and take close up photos of the needle and nozzle it would help someone with more experience to see what is wrong.

Maybe contact LionArt in the Netherlands, they do a lot of Iwata work, and they have parts.

To me it sounds more like you have a bent needle just at the tip, If you have access to a micro scope or a jeweler glass for a up close inspection of the very tip of the needle.

During shipping a lot of thing can happen , and yes if the needle was chucked forward it could have had a bad bounce and damage the tip of the needle. Contact David Monnig at coast airbrush if the seller will not help you out on it, David can tell you what you need to do and how to contact the right people the first time around.

thank you .. i have took a look at their site and I saw what i am in need, but I am not sure if i will buy whole head unit and the needle, or just the needle.
I am still thinking.. :(
I wish that no one has this PAIN I have right now :(

please have a look at the image and please correct me if I am wrong :
micron lijntekening.jpg
do I need : 2, 4 and 5 ??? + needle
or i just need 4 and 5? +needle

I see they do not have any sets, so I am afraid the 4 and 5 ,in specially, are not factory calibrated.
please advice.
thank you.

I would definitely start with only the needle. If there's no signs of damage on the nozzle, I would wait with replacing it.

i really do not know what to do..
I am thinking on buying the whole head and the needle and check them out to see what is wrong and if there was just the needle I would use the hear unit when I will break it, but I need it right away and I do not have enough money for all of those.

:(((

I am going to cry.

In my limited experience, I would still suggest to start with only the needle. Didn't you say that it changed position depending on how you turned it? If the head or nozzle would be bent, it wouldn't change from turning the needle.

i know i said that, but still ... i still have to test it to be sure

Contact a shop , ask questions, they can point in a better direction than stressing over it. Good luck.
