Mixing Different Types of Paints

I'm interested in knowing what types of paints can go together. For ex. If a base layer is Rustoleum or enamel, what can be applied on top of it without creating a chemical reaction.
What kind of clear coats are best to use for different paints.
And just basic what "not to" use together, paints that create nasty chemical reactions, etc...

Just so you know, enamel does not play well with others.
My main advice to you is go with one paint system from bottom to top.
Especially if you are using uros. Each has a proprietary formula and works best with it's own.
Waterbase like auto air or wicked etc. can be put over a urethane base coat and you can use a good urethane catalyzed clear over the top. But enamels don't play well with others.
