These cars are already looking really good! You’ve done a fantastic job getting started and I’m really looking forward to seeing what you turn out next. Be sure to keep sharing the photos! Not only are they very cool to see, but if you’re having problems you’d be amazed how well some folks here can identify the issue just from a photo.
    Excellent work so far.

Just hope you airbrush doesn't eat parts like my Paasche VL did and so far with my 105 I've only replaced the nozzle because it got a crack in it.

    Thanks Henry

First full car with the Iwata Revolution. At least I got the color I was going for. Its a a mix of Wicked Lime Pearl and Candy2o Poison Green mixed into the Transparent base. The base coat is Silver Pearl with Wicked Aluminum mix. I didnt see the run until I turned it a certain way, and right at the end there was sputter and pebbled the passenger door.

Being 103°f and 19% humidity isn't helping. Also I did get a little trigger happy.

After dinner, I will sand it and do it again.

Yea, but I try to get it where it shines while I'm spraying. It was a pretty thin mix st about 38 psi

I was asking that, cause when I sprayed plastic from far away, paint dried in the air before it hit the plastic and I got bunch of ''dots'' ''bumps'' ''patterns'' cause of that.

I think it was combo of distance and cup going dry.

And I was getting a little carried away...I need more patience lol

I also need more patience. Try to test on some plastic piece which is laying around and go closer. Just to see if there is any difference.

Also I remember one time I had bunch of those bumps until I added a little more reducer. And I think it was green color...

I remember I opened thread about that, I wonder where that thread is...

This was from yesterday. First time I was able to pull a good clearcoat job. Sanded and waxed nicely.

I also was using that 155 Badger

I wet sanded with 600/800/1000/2000 grit paper.

For Round 2, I slowed down, took my time. Made sure every pass had shine to it.
